The South Carolina Physician Alliance (SCPA) is a physician governed entity chartered to serve the common interests of SC patients, SC physicians, and SC health systems. Healthcare is rapidly evolving with increased transparency around quality and safety metrics, new value-based reimbursement models, and escalating needs for physician leaders with evolving skill sets. The SCPA will drive discussions on meaningful issues impacting health and healthcare for the citizens of South Carolina while creating cohorts to support professional development and advance physician leadership.

The SCPA aims to create a space for connecting emerging and established physician leaders in the state’s hospitals and health systems, including:

• Chief Medical Officers

• Current and Upcoming Chiefs of Staff

• Physician Executives

• Emerging Physician Executives

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

SCPA is a working physician group aligned and integrated with the South Carolina Hospital Association (SCHA) in an effort to create synergy and momentum on issues important to all SC health leaders.
